This is an album of very minimalistic music. In the last year or so I have used these recordings many times to defuse a lot of rage, anxiety, and complete mental breakdowns. It works well in headphones when you have to go out into the world but I would also recommend playing it at home, in low light, with your prescribed or self-prescribed substance of choice.

What great renditions and quality musicianship. The bass and trumpet really shine in this concert, just amazing. It was a nice touch to include instrumentals to highlight Hardy’s everlasting contribution to the band. I would love to see a Residents’ best of world tour with these musicians. Bravo!
